About the word “Nafaka”

The word “nafaka” is of Arabic origin and means food, dish. According to some sources it is used in Turkish language and means alimony. In Sarajevo, the word is used completely differently. Nafaka, nafakali or even the jargon “nafakaš” means luck, lucky and “a lucky person”. One of the most popular phrases in Sarajevo’s everyday speech, which you will often hear is: “A New Day, a New Nafaka” meaning “every new day has its own destiny or luck”.

About Apartment Nafaka

Apartment Nafaka consists of a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom.

The bedroom is equipped with a double bed with aloe vera mattress, a large wardrobe and a plasma TV. Furniture in beautiful colors, various interesting details such as wall paintings and ethno-Bosnian style carpets, as well as an additional plasma TV give the living room a pleasant atmosphere. The kitchen contains all the necessities, from home appliances to dishes. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin and hygiene products such as shower gel, towels, hair dryer, soap etc. Apartment Nafaka has air conditioning and a free Wi-Fi connection. For your safety, the entire facility is under constant video surveillance.
